I freely admit that the bulk of our house is more about me and the girls than Scott. He is very gracious at basically letting me do my own thing. If he has a strong opinion about a project I have planned, he lets me know, but I can count on one hand the number of times he’s put his foot down. It’s only fair that he get his own man cave with his own things in his own taste. I made these Man Cave Coasters in his favorite colors for him to use in his space. The great thing about them is not only that they’re super easy, but that he can use them anywhere.
- Americana Decor Satin Enamels in Smoke Grey
- Americana Decor Satin Enamels in Dark Denim
- Americana Decor Metallics in Gold
- foam brush
- Darice MDF Coasters
- washi tape
Paint the coasters grey. I used two coats.
When the grey is dry, make different designs using washi tape. Make sure that you press it down well so that the edges of the tape don’t have any hidden bubbles.
Paint the coasters in the blue, again with two coats.
Before the blue is totally dry, carefully pull up the washi tape.
I love how sharp the lines are!
When the tops are dry, paint the gold onto the edges of the coasters for a bit of bling.
And there you have it! Super easy, right?! You can just imagine all of the ways to customize these Man Cave Coasters. They make fantastic gifts for any occasion and are perfect for home, office, or man cave.
