I am all about filling the girls’ rooms with happiness. It might sound cliche, but I really want them to be confident and happy. I think that when they’re seeing reminders of those traits, especially if they aren’t having a great day, it will help reinforce how great they are. When I saw Laura Kelly‘s new line of papers from AdornIt, I couldn’t get over how perfect they were. Each piece is so happy and the affirmations are just what I want for the girls. I decided to make a scrapbook doodle frame for my first project with these papers. The idea is to surround each girl with color and confidence.
I love the entire collection of papers and have full plans to use it all. I *might* have already started on my next project! The colors are vibrant and I love all of the doodles you can color in.
I grabbed a basic frame and cut a paper to fit. I chose green because that’s Madeline’s current favorite color.
I chose some doodles and cut them out. I loved that some of them are frames, which makes them so perfect for a picture. I took one with my Instax and stuck it on.
The best part was being able to color in the page. It was extra awesome to be coloring with Madeline and chatting about what we were making. This one went into a frame, but I can totally see the exact same thing in an album. This line is so versatile and fun!
I am so crazy tickled with how this Scrapbook Doodle Frame turned out. It was so much fun to make and I love how happy it is! I’m excited to make one for each of the girls and to play with more of these papers!
