February was such a tease for us in Chicagoland. We had a few scattered days where the temperature reached the 50s and it had the whole area craving spring in a big way. It had us shedding our heavy winter coats in favor of lighter and brighter clothing, even though we knew that winter wasn’t over yet. But, with March here and spring on the horizon, I know that I speak for many when I say that I am ready to pack away my winter clothes and get ready for warmer weather. You know that I’m all about updating classics, so I put together this roundup of Updated Spring Classics for your Wardrobe, featuring pieces from White House Black Market.

After I had Madeline, I struggled with losing my baby weight. I set a goal for myself that once I got it off, I would treat myself to some pieces from one of my favorite stores, White House Black Market. When I went into the shop with my post baby awkwardness, I was helped by the friendliest staff. To this day, I credit them with helping me get my confidence back. More than eight years later, White House Black Market remains one of my go-to stores for fantastic clothes and their spring line has me really excited.
Let’s start with my favorite tops! I love how the Lace-Trim Blouse flows. It looks great loose or tucked in, and that can be hard to do! The lace details are perfect.
We still need a bit of warmth here in the spring, and the Asymmetric-Hem Ribbed Sweater is a great combination of warmth and spring style. The caramel color is lovely and I love the detail of the hem.
You guys know I love my fun details, so when I saw the Cross-Back Tee, I instantly put it on my wish list.
For those properly warm days, I like the Dolman Jetsetter Tee. It’s flattering, has clean lines, and is great for layering if you need it.
I am such a jeans kind of gal and I fully admit that I think of certain pairs as more appropriate for one season over another. The Skimmer Jeans and Saint Honore Distressed Girlfriend Jeans are both spring jeans that are completely on trend.
I have always been a huge fan of pinstripes, and the Stripe Wide-Leg Pants modernize the look and updates it for spring.
The High-Slit Pencil Skirt is so awesome that I’m trying to think of a reason I need it. I might just need it because it’s awesome! I can see it in an office environment or at a nice dinner.
For those dressier needs, the Bateau Fit-and-Flare Dress is a dream. That neckline is so lovely and can we just talk about the pockets?!
We can’t forget accessories. I can’t wait to add the Obi Wrap Silvertone Hardware Belt to my closet. It can be dressy or casual and will up any the look of an outfit.
And, last but not least, with spring comes the sun! The Round Metal Sunglasses in Tortoise are the perfect accessory as you enjoy the warmer temps.
I am so ready for it to be spring. I’m almost frantic for the weather to change. With these updated spring classics for your wardrobe, I feel like I can make the transition flawlessly–at least when it comes to what I’m wearing!
