Creamy Potato  Soup

INGREDIENTS

Bacon Butter Onion Garlic All-Purpose flour Chicken broth Potatoes Milk Heavy cream Salt and pepper

INSTRUCTIONS

Add bacon into a large Dutch oven or heavy bottom pot and cook on medium heat until brown. Remove from the pot with a slotted spoon and set aside.

Add in the diced onion and butter and cook for an addition 3-4 minutes or until the onions are translucent.

Add in minced garlic and butter and stir until fragrant. Sprinkle the flour over the base and whisk to combine.

INSTRUCTIONS

Next add potatoes, broth, milk, and cream and bring to a boil for about 10 minutes or until the potatoes are cooked and can be easily pierced with a fork.

Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve warm with your favorite toppings.
