Easy Loopy Yarn Christmas Wreath
I don’t think I’m ever going to get tired of loopy yarn wreaths. I love how easy and versatile they are! It only takes a few minutes to make a complete wreath and you just can’t go wrong. This easy loopy yarn Christmas wreath took me less than 15 minutes to make and has a classic Christmas look.

Supplies:
- 18 inch wire wreath form
- Bernat Alize loopy yarn in burgundy (I got mine from Joann’s on sale)
- boxwood floral pick (this is similar)
- hot glue gun
- pre made bow (I picked this up at Michael’s during the holiday season and they are often on sale)
- wire cutters
It’s worth noting that this wreath can be customized with yarn color, bow color and pattern, and type of floral pick. Make it yours!!
Instructions:
Start by tying the end of the yarn around the outer ring of the wire wreath form. I did a double knot to secure it. Wrap the yarn around the entire wreath form. If you want a fuller look, push the strands closer together while you are wrapping. The 18 inch wreath form will use the entire skein of yarn.
Tie off the end of the yarn to the wreath form when it’s completely wrapped.
To attach the bow, I simply used the twist tie on the backside of the bow to secure it to the middle wire sections of the wreath form.
Use the wire cutters to cut off some of the boxwood pieces and add a line of hot glue to the stems. Press the pieces firmly onto the yarn underneath the bow so that the boxwood pieces stick out from the sides.
This easy loopy yarn Christmas wreath is an indoor wreath (I feel like I need to say that every once in a while!). The loopy yarn makes it nice and full while the bow and greenery adds a festive feel. Make one for yourself or give it as a gift!
