Red Yarn Brass Bells Wreath

I have a goal to see how many different loopy yarn wreaths I can make before I get tired of them. The second part of that goal is to use all of the way too many skeins I bought on sale earlier this year! This festive and classic red yarn brass bells wreath is a super easy project and doesn’t take long to make. Easy festive decorating is always the right choice!

Supplies:

Side note: I don’t go into Walmart often, so it’s pretty random that I have something from there in one of my projects. If you can’t find this exact ornament, there are a lot of options on Amazon. If you have simple bells, just add a bit of greenery to the top. Keep an eye out in the Christmas crafting section of your local stores!

Instructions:

Start by tying the end of the yarn around the outer ring of the wreath form. I did a double knot to make sure it was secure.

Wrap the yarn around the entire wreath form. I wrapped it fairly tightly to make sure that the wreath was full and still had a good amount of yarn left over for another project. At the end, trim the rest off with the scissors and either tuck it under the wrapped yarn or tie it.

To add the ornament, cut the loop at the top and then tie it around the inner ring of the wreath form. If your ornament doesn’t have a hanging loop, use an ornament hanger and twist it around the ornament and wreath wire.

Make sure that the ornament is secure–the bells I used were a bit heavy, so needed a tight knot.

It doesn’t matter how many Christmas projects I make–I always go back to that classic red and green eventually.

This red yarn brass bells wreath is just lovely. It’s perfect for Christmas, but I honestly think it would work all winter long.
