Easy Moss Wreath
I love seasonal wreaths but have been enjoying more evergreen decor recently. I like staples that can be used in different ways, like adding different seasonal bows to a wreath. This easy moss wreath is super simple to make and is great evergreen decor. It’s a great base for many seasonal ideas and decor.

Supplies:
- wreath form (mine was a 16″ straw wreath from Dollar Tree–this is similar)
- moss sheets
- burlap bow
- black yarn/glue
- scissors
Instructions:
My wreath came wrapped in plastic and I left it on just because it was easier. The moss is peel and stick–start by peeling just a bit of the backing off.
Stick the moss on the front of the wreath and carefully peel and stick it to the form until you have gone the entire way around. Fair warning–it’s going to be messy!
Taking your scissors, cut where you need to to get the moss wrapped around to the back of the wreath. It may not fully cover the back but that’s ok–no one will see it once it’s hanging up.
The front of the wreath should have full coverage.
Tidy up the wreath as needed–the moss is messy but it does stop shedding eventually!
I chose to finish this easy moss wreath with a burlap bow. The great thing about this wreath, though, is it’s super versatile and can be decorated in so many ways. My bow (as linked above) had a bright silver twist tie holding it together and I didn’t want that to show. I “attached” the bow simply by looping some black yarn around the bow and the wreath, covering the twist tie.
I’m pretty tickled with how this easy moss wreath turned out. It was a bit messy to make but I love the end result. And because I didn’t attach the bow with glue, it will be easy to swap out the burlap for other options if I want.
