Evergreen Brass Bells Swag
I’ve said it before, but I do love a classic red and green Christmas look. I always gravitate back to evergreen branches with red berries and a big bow. This evergreen brass bells swag is an easy variation on a classic Christmas wreath. It’s suitable for almost anywhere in the house, including a front door (as long as it’s a bit sheltered!).

Just a note on these supplies–most of these came from post season clearance at JoAnn’s. As I’m typing this, it’s been announced that all stores are closing. I’ve tried to find similar products that will give the same result, but my best advice is to actually wander any store that has craft supplies once they start putting Christmas things out. There will probably be better options and sales than what I have linked to Amazon.
Supplies:
- evergreen swag (similar)
 - evergreen florals (similar)
 - red bow (similar)
 - red berries (similar)
 - scissors
 - hot glue gun/ glue sticks
 - brass bell ornaments (similar)
 - wire cutters- optional
 - twine

Instructions:
Cut the back pieces of the bow tails off. This is optional–I thought it looked better with the shorter tails. Use the twist tie to attach the bow to the top of the swag. I usually do the bows last, but this adds a focal point as you’re decorating the rest of the swag.

Depending on the size of your evergreen stems and how full you want them to be, you can cut them into smaller pieces with wire cutters (if needed) or leave them as is. Place the stems in the swag by adding a line of hot glue and pressing it firmly onto the swag branches.

Add a dab of hot glue to the berries and then press them firmly onto the evergreen pieces. Again, depending on the berries you use and the look you want, trim them down or keep them as-is.

The bells I used had ribbon. I instead cut off the ribbon and used twine to hang them from underneath the bow. I liked the look of the twine but you can obviously do what you prefer.

This evergreen brass bells swag is a little bit more labor intensive than some of my other wreaths, but it’s super customizable. It has a classic look that you won’t grow tired of and is fun to make.
