Fuzzy Hair Beetlejuice Wreath
It’s showtime! I’m apparently not getting tired of Beetlejuice crafting and am just going to roll with it. Black and white stripes forever, babe. You know I love my yarn wrapped wreaths and this one turned out exactly how I wanted. The striped twinkle yarn coupled with the green faux fur makes for a perfect fuzzy hair Beetlejuice wreath.

Supplies:
- 12″ foam wreath form
- Big Twist Yarn in black and white Twinkle
- Big Twist Yarn in Slime
- straight pins
- scissors
- clip on necktie 20″
- green craft fur strip
- DecoArt Neon paint in Ultraviolet
- paintbrush
Instructions:
Wrap a section of the wreath with the Slime yarn. This is going to be where the “hair” goes, so don’t cover more than roughly 1/4 of the wreath with it. I used straight pins exclusively for this wreath–pin the start of the yarn and then the end where you cut it. Just make sure that each time you pin, it’s at the back of the wreath.
I alternated sides when I wrapped the stripes in an attempt to keep them as neat as possible. Start with a black section on either side of the slime, then white, etc. It worked out that I had a bigger section of white at the bottom, which was perfect.
Pin the faux fur to the green section of the wreath. Make sure the fur is sticking up. I made some small folds (and pinned them) so that the fur followed the curve of the wreath. Cut and trim the fur when you reach the end of the green section. This can be pinned at the front since the fur covers the pinhead.
I cut off (using wire cutters) the clip part of the tie because I felt it made the tie stick out too much. Pin the tie to the wreath.
For a little extra texture, paint some neon purple onto the tie. It’s hard to see in the final picture of the wreath but shows up more in person. I like it, but it’s obviously optional.
I’m beyond tickled with my fuzzy hair Beetlejuice wreath. I love the spiky faux fur and necktie–I don’t think there’s any question about it being inspired by the ghost with the most. Let’s turn on the juice and see what shakes loose!
