Easy Faux Eucalyptus Wreath

Sometimes a simple green wreath is all you need for that extra pop in your decor. One of the great things about these wreaths is that you can spend as much or as little on them as you want. They’re super customizable, too–add a seasonal bow or flowers. I’m a big fan of swapping out bows during the year. This easy faux eucalyptus wreath uses inexpensive supplies and is great as it is or as a starting point for seasonal decorating.

Supplies:

  • 14 inch wire wreath form
  • zip ties (these are similar)
  • scissors
  • black and white buffalo check ribbon (similar)
  • eucalyptus bunches (I used 12 bunches and mine came from Dollar Tree. If you want a slightly less faux look, I’ve linked a couple of options here and here. You’ll need to play around with amounts.)

Instructions:

Flip the wire wreath form over so that the curved part is on the bottom. This will create a section that the flowers have something to sort of sit in.

Started by bending the eucalyptus bunches so that the stem curves a bit on the wreath form.

Use a zip tie to secure each eucalyptus stem around the wire wreath form. Push the flowers up next to each other to give it a fuller look. Repeat this around the entire wreath form.

attach stems

When the eucalyptus has been attached the entire way around the wreath, cut a piece of the black and white buffalo check ribbon to your desired length and tie it around the wire wreath form to hang it.

This easy faux eucalyptus wreath is super quick to make. It can be dressed up or down and decorated for any season. Sometimes faux is the way to go!
