Easy Faux Succulent Wreath
I’ve been after evergreen decor lately and you can’t get more evergreen than faux succulents. I try desperately to keep houseplants alive, but even succulents don’t seem to last. With faux plants, I’m able to get some of the green I’m after without the drama of plants that don’t like me. This easy faux succulent wreath is so pretty and tricks my mind into thinking I’m a real plant lady.

Supplies:
- 18 inch grapevine wreath–or you can find one at a craft store
- faux succulents
- hot glue gun and glue sticks
- wire cutters
Note: You can collect various faux succulents from all sorts of stores–I just liked the bigger set that Amazon had. It’s increasingly difficult to source supplies between stores closing and others misbehaving.
Instructions:
Trim the ends of all of the succulents with the wire cutters so that they fit better in between the grapevines on the wreath. You’re going to be tucking them in somewhat–they won’t be flush on top.
Add glue to the bottom of each succulent around where the stem is and press it firmly onto the grapevine wreath. Repeat this for all of the succulents or as many as you would like to add.
There are obviously many ways to place the succulents. I was pretty random and kept them to the left side. I placed some of the bigger succulents and then filled in the rest with smaller ones. Mixing colors and sizes makes it fun, especially with the dangling succulents.
I’m using this faux succulent wreath indoors, but it can go outside if it’s in a covered or sheltered area. Add ribbon, faux flowers, or a bow for extra fun if you want–it’s such an easily customizable wreath! You could also get more succulents and go for full coverage.
