Holiday Style

December 9, 2015 by Albion

I always feel like the holidays are made for dressing up. I love the sense of whimsy throughout December and it’s such a great excuse to dress in ways you wouldn’t normally. I love dressing up for parties and Christmas, but it’s nice to dress up just to feel good, too. I’ve been playing around with my holiday style and decided that I’m going all out this year.

When I saw the Taffeta Pleated Midi Skirt on Cents of Style, it was love at first sight. The navy was calling my name. They had it styled with t-shirts and it looked amazing, so I knew that not only was it gorgeous, it was versatile. You could go with a super fancy top, or something simple, like the old black turtleneck sweater (similar) from White House Black Market that I’m wearing. My closet is excited to have it.

I’m wearing the red studs from the Eliana set of earrings and my necklace is the Sparkle Pop Jewelry Sydney Pendant Necklace from the December 2014 PopSugar Must Have Box.

I feel like I would be comfortable at almost any party the holidays can throw at me in this outfit. The skirt makes everything around it perfection. I want to twirl around! It’s an easy holiday style that packs a lot of punch.

I have the same thoughts on dressing up for holidays! It’s also a nice excuse to wear outfits that are extra glam. Love that cobalt midi skirt on you!
