Resin Owl Pendant
I have been so big into resin crafting lately and have especially been loving making jewelry. With Halloween coming up, I’ve been enjoying making some seasonal resin crafts, like this resin owl pendant. It uses elements from my beloved BGM Box and has that understated spooky season vibe I love. This owl is so cool that I just needed to highlight him!

Supplies:
- rectangle open resin bezel
- UV resin
- UV resin light
- silicone mat
- silicone mixing cup and stir stick
- chunky black and silver glitter
- moon and bats from Tin of Halloween Sprinkletz
- owl from Graveyard Novelty Buttons
- jump ring
- necklace cord
Directions:
Mix the glitter into a small amount of resin. Carefully pour it into the bezel. You don’t want to fill it–this is only the bottom layer. Cure it under the light for 120 seconds. You can obviously change the colors and chunkiness of the glitter–I just liked the look of the silver and black. It also isn’t full coverage–there are spots where it’s still clear and the background color peeks through. If you want it to be solid, you’ll need to either color the resin or use finer glitter.
Place the owl, moon, and bats on the glitter resin. Carefully cover them with clear resin. Cure again for another 120 seconds. I did this twice because I always get nervous that it hasn’t set properly, but I’m positive it wasn’t really necessary in this case.
Attach the jump ring and necklace cord.
This resin owl pendant was so quick and easy to make. It’s nicely spooky with Halloween vibes without being too over the top. It’s a fun little piece of jewelry to wear any time during the season when you want that little bit of Halloween but can’t go all out.
