Sparkle Coffin Resin Earrings
I’ve been having a blast with resin crafting lately and have been on the hunt for seasonal molds. I came across these coffin molds and saw so many fun projects that I couldn’t pass them up. This pair of sparkle coffin resin earrings is perfect for Halloween fun. Using glitter, sequins, and novelties, you can customize them in your favorite colors and Halloween sparkle.

Supplies:
- Alumilite UV Resin
- UV Resin Lamp
- Coffin Mold
- purple glitter
- fish hook earring and jump ring
- silicone mixing cup
- silicone stir stick
- Halloween sequins and novelties (check your stash or local craft store)

Directions:
Mix the purple glitter into the resin. Pour a thin layer into the molds. Cure for 120 seconds. I flipped the mold over and cured it a second time because the glitter was dark, but I don’t think it was really necessary.

Place the sequins and novelties of your choice on top of the purple resin. Carefully pour clear resin on top. If the items shift, you can carefully move them back with tweezers. Let the resin rest for a minute to work out any bubbles from going into nooks and crannies.

Cure again. I did two rounds again (I’m probably overcautious!). Be careful with using glittered novelties–the glitter on the words I used came off during curing and it ended up messier than I would have liked.

Attach the jump rings and earrings.

Can coffin jewelry be cute? I think these sparkle coffin resin earrings make that a yes. They’re lightweight, a lot of fun, and have bats and glitter. What’s not to love?! My kids have all put in orders for themselves and their friends, so you’ll be seeing a lot of variations on these. This pair, though, is all mine and I’m not sharing!
