I used to get so frustrated at not being able to find lamps I liked the looks of. It took me a ridiculously long time to realize that I could update a lamp myself or DIY a lampshade. From paint to transfers, fringe to stitching, and the ever awesome decoupage, lamps can be a lot of fun to update. There are so many easy ways to get the look you want so I’ve rounded up some creative and cool DIY lamps and shades to inspire all of us.
I’ve really been enjoying taking simple (and cheap!) lamps and turning them into pretty pieces for our new house. It’s so much fun to customize them to a particular space. I’m super inspired to try even more after seeing all the neat ideas in this post!
