Felt and Pom Pom Holly Garland
The red and green of holly is something I need to have every Christmas, no matter what my theme and colors might be. I really wanted a garland to hang across our very bare mantel and wanted something that popped, so holly immediately came to mind. This Felt and Pom Pom Holly Garland is a fun bit of color for any type of Christmas decor.

Supplies:
- Cricut Maker
- green felt in two shades (similar)
- red pom pom trim
- green sparkly thread
- red thread
- needle
- scissors
- Holly Leaves file
Cut out the felt pieces on your Maker. The holly leaf design I used came directly from Design Space. Just click the link in the supply list and you’re all set!
Every curve and point is perfect with the Maker!
Stitch the leaf pieces together. I used a green metallic thread for that sparkly pop. Just simple stitches around the leaves will both keep the leaves together and add another dimension to the garland.
When all the leaves are stitched up, attach your pom pom trim.
I folded over a section of the trim to create a cluster of berries at the middle of the leaves.
Stitch each folded cluster of berries to the middle of your leaves with a bit of red thread.
Nothing is more Christmas to me than holly and I’m so tickled with my Felt and Pom Pom Holly Garland. If you’re not into stitching, it’s easily made with fabric glue–I just love that stitched look.
This is a great garland for anything–put it on your tree, across your mantel, or just to cheer up a bare wall. I’m loving our newest addition to our Christmas decor!
