Classic Loopy Yarn Christmas Wreath
I’ve been into super easy and classic lately (if you haven’t been able to tell!) and have been enjoying bright red, green, and white Christmas decorations. My latest loopy yarn wreath is super easy (let’s face it–they all are!) and I love the “snowy” look with those pops of color. This classic loopy yarn Christmas wreath will look right at home in almost every house this holiday season.

Supplies:
- foam wreath form (I used a 16″)
- white loopy yarn
- red bow (mine came from Michaels, this is similar)
- pinecone and berry picks
- straight pins
- scissors
Instructions:
Find one end of the yarn, take a straight pin, and pin the yarn to the wreath.
Wrap the yarn around the wreath until it is completely covered. Cut off any excess yarn and pin the end to the wreath form.
Pull out your bow and decide where you want it on the wreath. I love the bright red of the bow I picked coupled with the fluffy white edges and wanted it front and center. It just screamed classic Christmas to me.
Most pre-made bows come with a twist tie in the back. Just tie it around the wreath where you want it.
Because I can never leave anything alone, I added some pinecone and berry picks. I especially love these–I used them in my Winter Wonderland Pom Pom Wreath as well. The loopy yarn makes it easy to just tuck the picks into the wreath, but you can add some glue if you feel they need to be more secure.
And that’s it! This classic loopy yarn Christmas wreath is super simple but I love how festive it is. You just can’t go wrong with that bright red and white with little pops of greenery, pinecones, and berries.
You’re probably tired of hearing me say it, but this yarn wreath is intended for indoors–you really don’t want the mess you’ll get if it’s out in the elements.
For fun, here’s the winter wonderland wreath that uses the same picks.
