Wherever I May Roam Pouch
I started 2021 with big plans and wishful thinking. I’m starting 2022 actually following through with a few of them. As I’m writing this (mid-January 2022), New Zealand’s borders are still shut tight and I don’t know when I’m going to travel again. It’s not going to stop me from dreaming, planning, and moving forward, though, and this Wherever I May Roam Pouch encompasses all of my hopefulness for the coming year.

Supplies:
- canvas pouch
- Black Heat Transfer Vinyl
- Cricut or other cutting machine
- Light Grip Mat
- Heat Press or Iron
- SVG File (click the link, click on the image, and save it to your computer)
Instructions:
Download the SVG file and upload it to Cricut Design Space or your cutting machine’s software. Set the software to your material, taking care to attach and mirror the image if you’re using HTV like I did. Place the vinyl on the mat and set the machine to cut. Remove the decal from the mat and weed it (be careful as the letters are skinny!).
Place the weeded vinyl onto the canvas pouch.
I always use a scrap piece of fabric when I’m ironing HTV onto something. Place the fabric (or whatever you’re using) on top of the decal and then iron as per your vinyl’s instructions. Peel the clear backing off once the vinyl is solidly attached.
Allow HTV to “cure” for 24-48 hours before washing or heavy use. To be honest, I always use these things straight away but really should wait.
Enjoy this fun Wherever I May Roam pouch. Hopefully it will be roaming with me to some new places soon, but for now my pouch is tucked into my purse with day to day odds and ends.
