Winter Wonderland Tree Diorama
When Team Ten decided to use Winter Wonderland as our theme for this month’s holiday decor and gifts challenge from Cricut’s Design Space Star, I knew that I wanted to create a treescape. I love the look of trees against snow, and Cricut made it easy.
I found the perfect tree in Design Space. It was a lot of fun watching the machine cut it out. There were a lot of intricate bits. I used a variety of cardstock.
When all the pieces were cut, I simply slid them onto a dowel, with the largest piece on the bottom and working my way to the top. I could space the pieces and bend them how I wanted.
I cut out a quick piece of snowy landscape in glittery vinyl for my glass vase. I used some sparkly white filling and placed my trees. It’s a fun little Winter Wonderland Tree Diorama and I can see a whole forest being created soon!
