Edward Scissorhands Cross Stitch

October 13, 2015 by Albion

It’s been a while since I’ve shared anything cross stitch related with you. I was always a slow stitcher, but these headaches are making it worse, so I haven’t felt like I’ve had anything worthy of a share. This month, though, I’ve had the last of my swaps for the year due, and have managed to stitch up some hoops for them.  I love Tim Burton movies, so it was a no brainer to sign up for a swap all about him and his characters. My partner listed Edward Scissorhands as one of her favorites, so I jumped onto Etsy to look for patterns. I discovered Tiny Needle, and basically want to stitch up every single pattern she sells. I purchased her Edward Scissorhands Cross Stitch and enjoyed stitching it up for my partner.

It probably took me about a week to stitch this up, which is embarrassing, but it’s how things are going right now. I didn’t use the exact colors listed in the pattern, but used floss from my stash.

I’m planning on stitching this up again for myself!

I haven’t watched Edward Scissorhands in a few years, but after stitching him up, I’m thinking it’s time to get reacquainted!
